I created this pattern in response to the Etsy Beadweavers' May challenge: Food Chain. You can see all the entries by searching for "EBWC." Voting begins May 7th on the team blog: [link]
A food chain is just another form of hierarchy going from the lowest/smallest to the highest/largest. Each link consumed/appropriated/overpowered by the next, all necessary for the world to function. They are all equally vital, a lesson we should never forget! What's your place in the link? Show it off proudly when you wear this cuff! This cuff was woven in peyote stitch using Japanese delica beads in six different shades and finishes of gorgeous blues on a satin white background. At 2.3" wide, this cuff should not be worn by wallflowers who don't care to be noticed. It's 7.5" long. The closure consist of two beaded loops and toggles. |
